They managed to secure a reheresal room from the dormitory's superintendant.
In return , they had to perform in the student restaurant for Croatian
Independence Day on May 30. That was their first and unforgettable
gig.
Since then Trenk remains active and plays numerous gigs all around
Zagreb, Croatia and Western Europe. They also particapetd in many
tambura music festivals. Their greatest success was in 1995 at Pozega
Festival where they won the first prize. That same year Trenk recorded
their first and only cd with the great help of two members from
Zlatni Dukati, Stanko Saric and Hrvoje Majic.
In the past ten years some of the band members have changed. Trenk
mostly changed prim players. After Ivan, there were Denis and Dalibor
on prim. Currently, Marko is their prim player. Trenk believes that
time will only make them stronger and better.
