Nikola Biondic AKA Brljo, an excellent singer and basprimas, a leader of the younger generation of tamburasi in the general Zagreb area, organizes a tambura event each Easter Monday. It has become a tradition for the tamburasi and tambura lovers and their friends to meet on Easter Monday, go mountaineering on Medvednica and then meeting on a meadow (if the weather is fine) or a mountain house to play tambura, sing and drink. Here you can see a few pictures from the last "Tamburijada". I was playing most of the time so I didn't take more pictures and the best moments remain only in the minds of those who were there. Most of the Croatian-based tamburaland members can be found on these pics... e.g. saky, Zemsko, hristo, Petar... It was great fun (except for the climbing part, I thought I'd die... lol)!
