Duka,
First of all, this is really exciting. You will save us all a ton of time....loading songs down to our computer, cutting and pasting, slowing the licks down, and then going over an over them to get them down (only to listen to it the next day and realize it isn't "just right".....that is where your written notes come in.) By the way, I have sofware that will slow down the music and keep it in pitch...are you aware that exists ?
As for the suggestion, you may want to consider a section where we can easily request a lick....or part of a song. Also, will you have a list of licks....like the lyrics section of Tamburaland ?
Thanks again...Rudyk
RudyK,
Thanks for the message. I am aware that "slow down" software exists. It is great stuff but if the recording isn't clear, it may not help in every case.
Your suggestion.......
Vjeko and I talked about this. It will likely happen in the not so distant future. Since we decided to start slow and work out any kinks with the Tamburalicks section, the first 2 months or so of licks/tunes have been planned.

Hi Fellas,
I also have music to slow down licks. Maybe we should swap programs I might have a better one or u might have a better one etc tamburasi need ot help each other out. Also Duka how do u do it without a slow down program your ear must not be that perfect whats your secret? also its a mad addition to tamburaland and for fantazija will there be a kontra(bugaria), celo and berda notation? ok thanks guys cya
PS Keep breaking those fingers on the zice hehe
Aussie Tamburas,
The only slow down program I know of is "Amazing Slowdowner." What are some others?
Believe me, I don't have a perfect ear. Sometimes it takes me weeks to figure things out without a slow down program.
As for the celo/bug./berde parts, they aren't in the immediate plan but we can consider them. The second brac part will be out soon.

Hey Duka,
BTW I ma downloading version 2 off net is there a newer version also when I was in cro a tamburas had music software which basically writes out the whole song all instruemnts everything in a score all correct so no need to slow down. But I don't know how to obtain it coz the guy is a bit of a tight ass. I don't really need it I have a pretty good ear jsut the really fast stuff is pretty hard but it would be good to get my hands on a program like that coz it would save me a hell of time ok man cya

Tomislavgrad,
you can download Amazing slow downer from www.ronimusic.com (http://www.ronimusic.com)
Aussie,
All slow-downers do the same thing. There is hardly any difference between them. One that Mark has is a trial version (Amazing Slow Downer), just download it it from the site above
Also, Mark will be doing Tamburalicks as his schedule permits. He is not doing this for money so don't expect miracles. He has a full time job, teaches couple junior groups and has a family. What I am trying to say is that he doesn't have a lot of free time. Doing a full arrangement takes time and that's why we will be only covering certain parts of the songs, hence the name Tamburalicks. If anyone else is interested in transcribing licks or you already have them and you want to share them with us send them to vjeko@tamburaland.com
Thanks, Vjeko
