How do you play the...

Dangubica, I have one, but have no idea how to play one, it just sits there. I play bugarija but I'd like to learn another croatian instrument.

If you've ever played Samica or know someone who knows it's the same concept.

I have never played a samica, or know anyone that does.

so does sheet music even exist for these or is it more like a thing that was passed down in the family.

it's kind of a hard concept to expalin in text. There are basically three positions on the dangubica.

1st position

hold first fret of the first two strings. Play all the strings

2nd position

2nd fret of first string, play all the strings

3rd position

1st fret of 2nd string, 3rd fret of 1st string.


after this all the positions are like the 3rd you just keep shifting your hand.
