Does anyone have any info on an instrument maker Stephan T. Marinko from Toronto??? Does he still make instruments, what's the quality, & how do prices normally run??? I've been asked to help sell a guitar from this maker but have never done anything like this before so i don't know what's the best way of going about it... Additionally this guitar was made in 1981, is in excellent shape and had an inlaid grb at the top...
Many thanks for any help!!!

Hi,

His name is actually Steve Martinko. He makes very high quality instruments. He is actually a violin / cello / bass maker. He also makes guitars on occassion. He really only makes tambure on the side as a hobby (His tambura are very well made, but have the classic North American Tambura Sound). If any of you are familiar with the Canadian band "The Barenaked Ladies", he made the standup bass for their bass player.

He is the only person I trust to repair any of my instruments.

PM me if you want to contact him
