I know it's an odd question but here's why I need one. I've been playing the prim for 30 years. About a year ago I got a mandolin and have been trying to play bluegrass on it with local friends. But my addled brain (too much slivo) just couldn't wrap around the different fingering. So last month I retuned my mandolin to a BEAD tuning. All those bluegrass songs just flowed right out my fingertips like butter on a hot day. But a mandolin is expected to chord in bluegrass. Hence the need for a chord chart. Can anyone help?

I'm not an 'expert' though a chord is simply a combination of notes played simultaneously. There should be a reference somewhere noting these so that you can apply that the the tuning of the instrument you have and get aquainted with the patterns necessery to ring out a chord, and then build your chords chart from there. I play guitar on the side and have noticed simlar chord patterns may be applied to tambura (The last four stings of the guitar GDAE correspond to the tuning of a G brac for example), though the chord itself may be different depending on the tuning of your instrument.
