Even though Valentines day was a few weeks ago we still had a great time playing the (belated) Valentinovo Dance for Silver Strings in Milwaukee this past weekend. The Midwest Tamburasi were mixed up a bit with the absence of Chris Grlica (who was busy winning Rum chugging contests on his honeymoon), so for the first time with the Midwest Cirkus was Petar Naumovski who is now on the list of midwest tamburasi. Arbi played prim, Marcel na basprim, Pero na basprim, KvaziGretic na bass, Vuc na kontri and Dominik on the Gazda Brac. Prime Rib was great and we used some of the spare fat lard to grease up strings. Thanks to all that contributed. (see pics below)

Then about 2am Marcel, Arbi and I headed back to the ColdAssWindy City to get Arbi's SET and go to O'Hare to catch a 6:50am flight to SetsBurg.. Man was that brutal..just when you thought you would get a 5 min power nap at the gate some smrkovac kid would start crying...I wanted to crawl into the garbage schute to get some sleep. Flight sucked and when we landed I thought we were in Alaska - snow was brutal.. No sleep for us except for Arbi who had to get at least an hour of sleep in his bed in Carnajgi. Vjeko cleaned car off and we hauled ass to Rankin to find the "dabest" sound guys all done and ready to rock..

Before 8601 did their SET were the Rankin Jr.'s - and boy, once again I was impressed with those kids..nice job. All around playing, singing and dancing...and that one little girl who has the voice of an Angel sigat jako good. Nice job to the directors. And then "KUMOVI"...who I have never heard before BLEW ME AWAY. Wow, that group is fantastic, and who wouldn't be with "ZlatniGlas Spisic" and the solid "HammerHand Sestili" on Bass. Even Angelo Sestili shook his ass in the dance...and the Simumovic Family in there too...nice Job Zeljko...jes jes..you too Stivoric's.
