| Wow! That's all I have to say about this years Velika Gospa celebration
@ St. Jerome's Croatian Church. For those that don't know, every year
on 8/15 St. Jerome's Church has a Huge block party celebration and
parade on the south side of Chicago (31st & Princeton) from the
early Mass hours til about 11pm (no matter what day it is). I don't
know what it was about this year that was so different than the previous
years, but the atmosphere and overall feeling was magnificent. It
was really great to see all the people you haven't see since last
year or since the last Split/Boduli party ;), and the most important
thing was to get everyone together from all sides of Chicago (north,
south, east, vest, suburbs..).
The entertainment this year was provided by Pro Patria, Boduli,
Split and the SkarkRomanovic show. Skark and Mario entertained people
during the day with their stylish guitar playing and vocal power,
while Pro Patria, Boduli and Split shared the main stage providing
kolos and sexy latino ass shaking music as well as Rock to blow
your mind..(my ears are still ringing from Ivica's drums). May I
also ad that each band donated their time for Church improvements
(thanks Guys!).
As Zeljko Martinovic would say "Joe shut up, you talk to much,
let's hear the music man". Anyway, below are the pics I was
able to capture of this years Velika Gospa Celebration in the beautiful
city of Chicago. Thankx and ennnndjoyyyy.
