JoeLeno Update - New Years @ Javor with 8601 & Friends

What can I say but WOW, what a night. Even though we were in small numbers it was a really nice New Years party. The people that did show up (od srca vam hvala) made the evening. It was especailly great when the Horsovec klan showed up to spice things up. Big Horsovec (that's david kosovec to those that don't know him) played cello with 8601 -- what an addition! Thanks Horsovec! And then Mali Horsovec (that's enpero kosovec to those that don't know him) showed up and was dragged by EnJoy Leno to play brac with the rest of the fantasticni Tamburasi Vjeko Delmar, Bobi Sestili, Ivek Huckle, Marcel, Dominik, Fanto Felcher and Arbi Sestili. After a few Mali Horsovec numbers Tanja Kosovec was called to sing (tanja is boni and sonja kosovec to those that don't know them) with the other horsovecs and 860ringashi. Damn did they get down..(see pics below). Oh boy, and to top off the night Strabo Strabuc (Kruno Spisic) comes in from Gipsi Djazz gig and entertained for a while. Inace, it was a great night and thanks to Jr. and Dani for sound and Zlatan (konobar od javora) and simunovic klan for a great night. Enjoy the pics.

Joeleno - NewYears Day party @ Prsa House

An tradition that goes back many years in the Prsa Family is a new years party held at their lovely house in Palos Hills (that's where joeleno and dominik live too). Catered to tamburasi and friends of tamburasi, the bar is surrounded by Prsut, Kobasica, Sir, Vino, Rakija, Kulin, Cvarke, Hladetine, PigsFeet, Chiterlings, Pastries of all kinds and any type of booze a Tamburas would want. Anyway, unexpectedly, Marcel and JoeLeno got back for PA about 7pm, returned van rental and headed to Prsa House for this festive event. And the following pics are from that great night that lasted til late the next day. Thanks to the Prsa Family for hosting this party. It was a great time!!!
